Got to work Friday and noticed that my bike was leaking some antifreeze. Got home thought that it was a hose clap turned out to be the radiator. Should I try to have it fix if possible or just fork out the cash and by a new one? Anyone know about how much a new one will run?

Are you positive it's actually the radiator which is leaking?
If so, I would think that would be way out of the norm.

Has the bike been dropped or otherwise damaged, which might lead to a leak?

You might clean the bike thoroughly, after removing fairings, let dry, start and warm up the engine and re-check all hose clamps (there'a a bunch).

I've got well over 150,000 miles between a 4th and 5th gen VFR with no problems from the radiators.

A quality radiator shop, emphasis on quality, can probably fix it for much less than the cost of new. Another fix would be to check out m/c salvage places, where you might find one in serviceable condition.

Just noticed you're in Tenn., probably some racecar shops nearby which may lead you to a good rad repair shop.

Thanks for the info I have never dropped the bike and I checked a lot of the hose clamps. But I will double check to make sure.
