Laminar Lip for 6th gen/ Mirrors suck?

I'm new to the forum and new to VFR ownership. Just picked up a 2002 6th gen. and love it. I do notice that im getting lots of air hitting me under the chin when riding. Does anyone have any experience with the Laminar Lip on a 6th gen? I'm thinking of adding one for air deflection.
Also, what are the best replacement mirrors. The right mirror was scrapped and the glass (plastic) is distorted. Looks very cheap.

Yes Laminar lip should deflect the air flow over your helmet, Be advise this only work for some depend on their height.
