I just completed a clockwise circle tour of Lake Michigan (starting and ending in the Chicago suburbs). It was a great trip, and my VFR could not have run better. You can see my blog: http://britt-motorcycling.blogspot.com/2009/05/around-lake-michigan-over-memorial-day.html for all the details and the pics, but I thought I'd post a few pictures here for for anyone interested... Gassed up, packed up, and ready to go! Things got wet as we went north through Wisconsin. It started drying out north of Green Bay. Long straight roads of the U.P. Lake Michigan under blue skies. The Mackinaw Bridge. You can see through the bridge in certain lanes. Michigan's Tunnel of Trees. On my way home from our cottage in Michigan.
I love Michigan, lived there when I was a kid. Would love to ride along Michigan's western coast line. I love the tree tunnel shots!
