Where are you going to put them? I've seen some bikes that look good with extra LED's, but most are too flashy (pun intended) for me. If you decide to do it take some pictures.

    actually I do ..

I'm not positive I want to do this yet

my main reasoning for doing it (if I do) is for the sight factor
We ride alot at night in the summer & I was almost T-boned twice this year alone

I'm going for being seen not "blingy" (I'm 36 not 18)

What about reflective strips/stickers/gear and so on? I just bought a large reflective sash which I made into a belt for my backpack. Pick up some of that SOLAS (save our lives at sea) reflective stickers....that stuff is VERY visible....

I was going to mention the same thing. You can get black reflective material (as well as other colors) at most sign shops at a very reasonable price. I got a roll end of black with several square feet left at a local shop for about $20. Cut it up, stick it wherever you want it. At night you'll light up like a monument.

I did just order a set of black reflective rim stripes.. so I guess I can start there

as far as gear .. My helment, boots & jacket both have reflective elements ..

just seems strange that the first 2-3 bikes will pass then the car wants to pull out in front of me....the one with the brightest headlight...

Thats because cars are evil. I am pretty sure of it.

I just got an 16" super bright Blue LED strip from CustomDynamics.com, They are going to go behind my fender eliminator, between my cans, and light the rear wheel area up all blue at night. I think they look cool, just my opinion, and who knows, maybe someone will notice me a little easier...

You can make your own LED kit w/minimal cost. I got 200 super bright LEDs for $12 on ebay w/the resitors and made my own kit. It isn't difficult at all, just do a google search for "LED wiring".
