So last week there was a Lieutenant Colonel down stairs looking at my bike. He is a very experienced rider and rides a 2010 bmw r1200rt. He had never seen a big viffer in person and was asking a bunch of questions. I looked at him and said "Sir, do you want to ride it?" He said yes and rode off down the street. about 5 minutes later he came back and was talking about how much he liked it. This morning i walk out of my office to find a 2013 vfr1200 parked next to mine and him standing their staring at both bikes. I walked up to him and he told me that the night he rode my bike he spent hours looking online for 1 with the right price. He went this past weekend, picked it up from tennessee and rode it home to GA. He already ordered the hard bags, akra exhaust, pcv, and heated hand grips. She must have made a good impression. Thought i would share.
Hard to say no to a Light Colonel. Especially if he's in your chain of command! Good call man. Thanks for serving and I wont do you the disservice of calling you sir if you are an enlisted man. Nice convert from the BMW!!!
Thanks guys...no he isn't in the chain but works up here near me. I am enlisted. Mofo...if I ever get my bucket list item of riding to Mulholland Dr from ga then I'll let you ride it.
