Never a stupid question right? Took my 02 side stand off about 6 years ago and can't remember if I had to undo the backside small bolt holding the sensor first. Any suggestions would be appreciated Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Looks like the 6G is different to the 5G, where the sensor screws onto the front of the stand, but threads into the pivot bolt. Assuming the 6G is the same but turned around 180 degrees, you will need to take the sensor off first so you can turn the nut or bolt.
