Key off everything lights and fuesl pump still on

    Just putting the battery back in after the Polar Vortex in Manitoba. As soon as I hook up the positive terminal even with key off the headlight, taillight and a whirring sounds like the fuel pump running. Any ideas or has anybody had this happen to them. Unsure what to do next to try.

    possible defect in main ign switch (key isn't off).

    stuck relay? If you have a service manual or copy of the wiring schematic that would help you immensely.
