Keep your bike dry with a dehumidifier

    Now that we are getting into the colder and damper weather we need to think about how to protect our bikes during storage.

    For many years I have used small dehumidifiers on my boats, and then one day I got the bright idea to use the same ones under my motorcycles.

    I store my bikes in an aluminum shed with a wood floor. The bikes are always covered, with a battery charger attached,
    StaBil in the fuel, and an 18" GoldenRod under the bike.

    I also start the motor and let it get up to running temperature at least once a week.

    If it's going to be a long storage period I put in fresh oil and filter.
