    Guys,

Over the winter I added a K&N filter and while I was there I cut the rubber boot in the air box above the air cleaner. I didn't cut all the way just made it so the air flow was less restricted (if that is possible).

Now riding the bike today it seems the transition into Vtec is smoother. Less abrupt more like a power band than down shifting. In the past when the Vtec came on there was no doubt it was there but today it seemed smoother.

Is it me or has anyone else noticed this.

    Joe

I think you are talking about the Airbox snorkle, yes? If so, I've actually pulled that out of the airbox and I have noticed a similar smoother progression. I also plugged the flapper valve hose at the same time.

Yes the air box snorkel thing. I cut the bottom half and the edges to smooth things. If it has some effect I couldn't say at all. But the Vtec transition is smoother with that and the K&N add.

    Hey I'm happy, Thanks,

    Joe
