Today I decided to slip the forks 3/4" - went for a ride and could feel an improvement. Then I decided to raise the rear with 3 washers going about 2.75" which would raise the rear end about an inch. What a PITA! I still don't know how to get the allen head bolt on the lower shock bracket out, because there is no way to access the nut on the other side. So I had to cut the washers into C shapes and slip them in there. That was one of those jobs you think will take an hour and takes 4, but the bike definately looks more aggressive and I can't wait to try it out. I'll post up results later this week.
