Just scored used hard bags!!!!

Yeah they may not match the bike, and yeah they may not match each other, but I just got a set of hard bags and mounts for $299 + shipping. I'm excited. But the seller said that I may have to make something that goes under the tail of the bike. Does anyone have a pic of what all comes with hard bags when you buy them? He has brackets, bags, some mounting hardware and I need to know what else I may need. Thanks for the help in advance.

Factory bags

They are factory 02/+ bags, just from two different bikes. I'm going to have them painted to match 06 pearl white. One's red and one's silver right now. I have been looking for used bags for over a year now. I'm ecstatic!

That was extremely helpful. I think that he is supplying the new stronger mud flap bracket, but may not have the rubber spacer for the grab rails. Looks like everything else is there though. Man I wish that fedex was like Acme delivery on looney tunes!

 

If it was like Looney Tunes, you might get a Candy-gram instead. That would not make your day like getting the hard cases. send me a pm with your e-mail and I can send you the factory instructions. I didn't post them as they're copyrighted.

 

I believe that he did have acme delivery ship my bags. I won them on ebay at 2:38am Tuesday morning. And when I got home last night after work they were sitting on the doorstep. He's in Indianapolis and I'm in West KY!

The brackets went on like they were supposed to, I sanded the bags and shot them with a flat black primer. I'll post pics to my gallery soon. I love the factory matched bags, but I have to say that in black they give a nice contrast. Thanks again for all the help!
