Met the transport person out by I-95 in the Walmart parking lot because of the size of his rig, so trailered her home.

By flashlight, she doesn't look too bad.

Some fairing work needed. Starts, runs, and everything works. Came with 2 keys and a clean title.

No dents in the fuel tank! :)

Came with seat cowl and infill panels....in correct color! :)

More tomorrow after I give her a bath and see what I have under the seat.

    I'm excited! :)

OK just gave her a look over in daylight and am impressed with what I have.

Some fairing work needed but not bad. Both lower fairings are good! Tail and battery covers will need repairs - not unusual. Headlight cowl - a little around the fasteners but otherwise in good shape. Seat cowl perfect - even the little tab in back - never repaired! Just some surface scratches.

Needs new tires. Rims have some kind of gunk on some areas so will need a good scrubbing.

Engine covers and brake calipers look great - no leaks anywhere.

Haven't looked at the battery yet but bike starts right up on choke and after warmed up at idle and throttles up and down really well. No engine noise other than the usual.

Looks very clean behind the fairings and under the seat - and came with it''s tool kit! Missing the screwdriver handle - otherwise looks like it's all there and in decent shape - no rust or corrosion. Bag in good shape too and has the feeler gauge.

Everything works - all lights, winkers, brake lights, brakes, clutch, head light and high beams, and horn. One key fits all 3 locks.

All in all I think this was a good value, even with the transport cost added on. I'm pretty stoked!

Will add a few photos later on.....

Should we call Guiness world records for a review on your total VFR count? Sounds like a sweet ride dude! Congrats.

Huh....never thought of that. You think they really keep track of these RC26's like that? :D

Shot a cold start and run video.....pics coming......

Overall she sounds good to my ear.

    What do you guys think?

The choke doesn't stay put when I engage it all the way down but she starts so easy it doesn't really matter...

Decided not to wash it today. Going to first work on some fairing repairs and also there's some "gummy" tape residue here and there on the fairings I need to remove. And will work on cleaning the rims up. Anyway.....

    Seat is perfect!

    IMG_4220.JPG

Even has the little rubber cushion under the fuel tank.....

    IMG_4208.JPG

Fuel tank inside is not bad...

    IMG_4198.JPG

    Tail fairing needs help......

    IMG_4207.JPG

One battery cover is OK - no breakage. The other one needs both pegs and the tab fixed.

Knowing how these bikes sound on a cell phone, it sounds just fine. They are noisy engines.

*Maybe* she takes a bit long to settle back down to idle after a rev. Might be a tad lean.

The choke lever does that in some of my bikes too. Have to hold it down with my thumb on days it needs it all. Nothing to worry about. I'd rather have that than the opposite, at least you know the linkage and plungers want to return.

Pretty nice bike dude. Bummer about the rear cowl though. Mufflers don't sound terrible either. Now to just make them look good.

Thanks, Capt - appreciate the input!

Tail fairing ,both battery covers, and the windscreen are inside my house now waiting for repairs and cleaning.

The headlight cowl also needs some help but these items are more of a priority.

Like Mom used to say...."It's a cinch by the inch....and harder by the mile!"

Sounds pretty good overall man. Seat cowl looks killer! I feel like my bike has way more in common with the US700 than the US750. lol

The other thing I noticed is that Big Red doesn't have quite that gear whine that most VFRs have. It is very quiet on the whine. Not sure if that is good or bad..hmmmm

Either way your new blue looks like winner overall!
