So my immaculate vfr just got laid down. hit some gravel at 30 and lost the rear end of it. The whole front left side plastic is done, along with the upper cowling and my mirror. I also put a huge dent in the fuel tank. Thank god I was geared up, and only have some scrapes on my leg and my left thumb hurts.

Yes, I am very sorry to hear that. But, you could be worse off. Don't give yourself a hard time...just repair it and ride again...only that will make you feel better.

Well found a full composite faring for the front. Now to decide if I go with a new color for her.

Glad you are ok. The bike can be easily fixed from the extent of the damage that you mentioned.

Ouch! I HATE it when that happens! The VFR is my first bike with bodywork, and although I don't often think about it, I know what even a garage tip-over is going to do.

    Glad you are OK.

You are smart for wearing all your gear. Glad you're ok. Buy discount factory plastics from mail order dealership. Usually you can get 30% off MSRP. Sell your damaged plastics on ebay, someone will want them believe it or not.
