    hey everyone,
longtime owner, first time in forum. I have had an 86 750 since 87. It's been in pieces since an attempted rebuild in 95. Hopefully through this I can located some prts or ideas to get Fred back out of coma and on the road again. Primary thing its missing is rod and crank bearings. Can't find em' anywhere any more. Look forward to swapping stories etc.

Hey, welcome to the club. I too own an 86 VFR 750. This is a great community that will prove to help out a lot in your rebuild. Someone posted on here this morning that they are parting out a mint 86 vfr on ebay. I call dibs on plastics and windscreen. lol

Mboryczki@yahoo.com was the email he put in his post so shoot him an email and see if he has what you need. I dont know if he is selling the engine as a whole or not. Depending he might make you a good deal on the whole works, only has 14000km on it so should be in good shape.

Just looked on ebay and all parts were for a 700. Didn't look like they had much in terms of plastics. Good luck. And thanks for the welcome note.

Many parts will fit either the 700 or 750. Not too sure about the specific parts you are looking for. He said he will be adding more parts until the end of the week. Heres hoping I can convince him to ship to Ontario Canada.

    Yeah,
Hopefully the engine is a true 750. I wouldn' mind getting my hands on it unless he wants an arm and a leg for it.

Bearings might be a match for the 700 and 750. I know many parts on the 2 engines match so you might be in luck. find an online schematic or fiche page and compared product numbers.

Bearings will go either way depending on clearance. I was actually running 700 rods with cosworth pistons when I tore down the engine. Would just like to get it back together at this point or pick up a running 750 and have a buttload of spare parts.

    Poor Fred

If you could locate that spot where your testicles USED to be , you would man up and go get a new one like you should. The VFR World chapter in Garderville has a cross dresser day in April so you will fit right in.
