Hey guys, my name is Todd and it looks like I'm picking up an 02 VFR tomorrow so I thought I should sign up and get up to speed on all things VFR. Looking forward to talking shop with y'all and learning about my new ride!
Welcome to the forum and congrats on a good choice! Search for 'the' thread "the drill". That should get you up to speed. In short, check electrical connections and the rectifier. Check oil and coolant, when it was last changed, etc. Check tires for wear and both wheels for bearing play. Check and lube chain.. Umm.. Oh, and ride like the wind! Riding on the storm
Thanks Blackslide. I'll check it out now. I'm on a Magna now, so I'm not totally unfamiliar with V4's. Hopefully my experience will play into my favor.
Welcome, I just posted in your other thread about what to look for, was I too late? Anyway I'm sure there is plenty of info here for you to catch up on!
Welcome the World. Here's the link to The Drill https://vfrworld.com/threads/the-drill.52131/#post-579543
No worries. As I mentioned in the other thread I paid a very low price and expect to put a little BST&$ into it. It seems like it has good bones. The rest will come by way of the aforementioned BST&$!
