Just joined today.

Hello, my name is John Martyn, I am from Canby Oregon. I own a 2006 white VFR. I purchased it in August of this year and I am really enjoying it. I am 46years old and traided in my 2001 GL1800 Goldwing to get the VFR. I loved the wing, but I wanted something that had just a little more sport to it. I had been reading alot about the VFR and based on all of the magazine articles and personal testimonies in web forums such as VFRworld, I felt that this was the bike for me. I haven't had a chance to tour with it yet, but I plan to just as soon as the weather warms back up. I am riding it to the MOTOGP at Laguna Seca this July. I have my tickets and lodging already paid for. I hope that all of you have a chance to make the race as well. I am going to be purchasing the Venture rack and luggage system for the bike. I think it will provide me with what I need to make the trip to Monterey CA. Have any of you had a chance to use this luggage system on your bikes?
Anyway, I have really enjoyed reading all of your posts over the last 4 months and have learned alot from them. See you on the road & keep the rubber side down.

Welcome, John. I guess you know that you bought the prettiest color bike out there. I haven't had any experience with the luggage yet, but I just ordered mine on 12/27, can't wait to get'em. Hope you enjoy your bike and again, welcome.
