I'm new to this and need all the help i can get. My brother and i just picked up a 1986 VFR700F2 and we are going to restore it back to most original and that means no mods to engine and the paint is correct, mostly... The bike will start and seens to be only running on 2 or 3 cylinders it also runs for about 10 to 20 seconds then shuts off. The paint is black from a rattle can and looks like crap. I think the bike is in good shape for the age and i think we can get her to run wild again... If any of you have some advice on where i should start, with this project please let me know...thank you all... I will take pic of the restore and ask a lot of question. I've looked through this forum and you all seen to know your VFR bikes...
