Im waiting on the guy to find the title. But it looks promising. Gonna need a few things but, most of it is there. I am looking foward to a new project bike. Now that I have my 99 squared away.

Good deal and welcome to the world of 500s. As you most likely know, there are a few caveats to owning a VF500F. Please feel free to ask questions. There is plenty of great info on this site along with a bunch of owners who have a great deal of knowledge on wrenching First Gens.

Enjoy the rebuild and please keep us posted on the progress!

cool!!! Thanks guys. I don't know much more about this bike yet. Only that it was running when this guy got it. The former owner had two or three, acording to this guy. And there seems to be an issue with the clutch. Sounds like I might get to open one up this time. I really love tinkering and learning more about jap bikes.
