Hello To You ! My Last Thrill Bike Was Some Six Years Ago. A Cbr 1000 F With Heli Bars And Soft Bags. We Had Some Great Outings. I Decided To Settle Down A Bit With Other More Civil Machines Even Getting Caught Up With A Sporty. I've Learned Some Over The Years But Somehow The Thrill Of Motorcycling Leaves Me Whenever I Loose The Thrill Factor. As Most Of You Know The Vfr Is A Restorer Of That Factor. I Picked Up A Silver 03 With Hard Bags And Tank Bra, Otherwise Stock. I Call It A Rocket. Don't See The Need For Risers Yet But I'm Not Getting Any Younger At 58. Performance Is Back In My Life And Boy Did I Ever Miss Her. Looking Forward To Reading And Corresponding To Like Wise Vfr Riders.

:welcome: Washington rider, seeing that you owned a CBR1000F, you must have a little sport rider in you. We also have some great group rides around here, but as you know, our riding season is about over, but wait till next spring, there is a great group ride around around here almost weekly.

    Welcome aboard

Hi, welcome to the group. What part of Everett do you live? I used to live out on Cavaleros hill for a number of years.

I'm Up Hwy 9 A Short Distance And Off Sr 92. Lots Of Mods On Your 94. Does Raising The Tubes Give A Little Quicker Steer In ?

Looking Forward To Spring Time. My Last Great Ride Was Sat. Before Last. Two Neighbors And Myself Did A 160 Mile Loop Going From Granite Falls Up Jordan Rd, Across Island Crossing To La Conner, Then Up Chuckanut Dr. To Bellingham, Over To Hwy 9 And South Back Home. Beautiful Fall Colors. Lot Of Riders Out. You Have Some Great Roads And Scenery Down In Your Area Also.

LOVE THE PERFORMANCE AND HANDLING OF MY VFR. I'VE NEVER BEEN COMFORTABLE IN THE BARCA LOUNGER POSITION. I MUST RIDE SAFE [ SPOUSAL ORDER #1 ] IT'S SO MUCH EASIER AND SAFER TO RIDE A PERFORMANCE BIKE LIKE THE VFR. LOOKING FORWARD TO SPRING. STILL GETTING USED TO THE BIKE BUT SAT. BEFORE LAST WAS A 160 MILER SO WE'RE GETTING PLEASANTLY AQUAINTED.

 Welcome to the group! I am up here in smokey point and still enjoying riding even in the damp! I just hooked up heated grips after last mon/tue ride to work 31 degrees, they are the next best thing to sliced bread! What a mod!!! I have a '94 that brings a smile every time I ride:biggrin: Hopefully global warming will bring us some more nice weather before the spring

THANKS FOR THE WELCOME V-FORE. NICE LOOKING VFR AND I SEE IT GATHERS LITTLE OR NO DUST. IT WAS A BIT CHILLY THE OTHER MORNING. I'M CONSIDERING HELI BAR OPTIONS BUT TIME WILL HELP ME DECIDE. I'VE ONLY PUT 400 MILES ON SINCE PURCHASE ON 12 OCT. I'M MOSTLY A FAIR WEATHER RIDER BUT EVEN DAYS LIKE TODAY HAD ME OUT FOR A RUN UP JORDAN RD. AND BACK DOWN ON BURN RD. LITTLE MUSHEY IN SPOTS BUT WAS A TREAT ANYHOW. WE MOST ALWAYS GET A FEW DAYS EACH MONTH EVEN IN WINTER FOR SHORT BUT SWEET REJUVINATING RIDES. LOOK FORWARD TO LINKING UP SOMEDAY. FLOYD

Yes it does. Hard to believe 10mm would make that much difference but it is a noticable improvement.

Another good ride is Hwy 9 to Arlington, then 530 through Darrington to Rockport. Hang a left onto Hwy 20 down to Hwy 9 south or all the way in to Burlington to I-5.
