Just put money down on a 07 red, white and blue 800. It has 1300 miles and was a demo. The bike is absolutely flawless and was a steal at $5495.00. The wife bought it for me. I couldn't have picked a better person to spend my life with. The only problem is that I'm having my back operated on Thursday and I won't be able to ride it for a couple of months. Anyone want to volunteer to ride it home from the dealership for me? I have an 03 TLR Suzuki that is just too cramped to ride 2-up on. Can anyone tell if their passengers have any issues with the bike?

    Thanks,

    Bill

Wow. Welcome, awesome deal on the 07! The TL's are a tough ride in general, 2 up has to be a bear. Sure you will dig the gen 6. Welcome to the World.

any suggestions for tank protection? I usually get a tank bra but I can't find anything like that. Are there any good sources for after market companies that specialize in the 800's?

I bought a new Candy Glory Red 07 about a month ago. I put the ST1300 tank pad set on. Bought the side pads from the local dealer (they gave me 20% off for a month). Bought the back pad from Honda Direct-Line. Total was about $110.
