Hi Everyone, I just joined the site this weekend after becoming a recent VFR addict. My love for the VFR came with my first encounter with one a few months ago when I was buying one to resell. I have always liked the concept of the V-4 engine and other VFR characteristics but had never driven one and rarely ever saw one. Well as fate would have it I fell in love with the '96 that I bought to resell, which led me to a never ending search and aquisition phase of any 3rd gen and up interceptors I could find for a good price on Craigslist. I now have 2 3rd gen, and 1 4th gen VFR 750's 1 is a parts bike, 2 are for sale, and the crown jewel out of the bunch is the 1993 Pearl Crystal White Original owner, mint condition 4000 mile beauty I just bought 1 week ago! Needless to say I'm keeping this one because I got a good deal on it and it is the exact year I was looking for and it even came with the original owners manual still in plastic sleeve, tool kit, brand new dunlop sportmax tires with 0 miles on them, a corbin color matched seat with backrest, and documentation showing it was a 1 owner bike. Well I love the thing so much that I decided to take it up to Lake erie this weekend with my girlfriend and I already put 1000 miles on it in a week! I am definitely a VFR addict now and this seems like the right place to be! I have a lot of other bikes but not many seem to have the character of the VFR. Also I might put the 92 and 96 I have up on here before ebay to give fellow VFR enthusiates a shot at them first.

Well, I don't think I am ever letting go of this one, this is the exact year, color scheme etc. I was looking for and what are the odds of finding one only 2hrs away from home with 4000 miles and one very meticulous owner! I should have bought a lottery ticket that week! Thanks for the compliments on it too, I have an 06 speed triple which was, and still kinda is my pride and joy before I found this bike, but I think the VFR actually looks just as good if not better! and what can I say I am a sucker for single sided swing arms!

Welcome to the MADNESS my friend. You have been drawn into the vacuum of the VFR, never to escape. But who'd want to? Very prettiful bike. Ride safe.

Wow, what a find. That bike is on my "must have" list as well. I almost had one a few years ago but lost it in a bidding war. It's good to see that they can still be had - even though they are far and few in between. Congratulations.

My love affair with the VFR got into full, must purchase mode, with a test drive on that very model.
    Great find.

I love when people try to guess the year of this bike. No one ever says '93!

Now get a slip on, and you'll be certain that you got "the" right bike. Let that V-4 breathe!

Yeah out of all the colors ever offered the pearl crystal white was the one I wanted more than any of them, and I payed 3600 for her which included the stock seat in mint condition, the corbin custom color matched touring seat with optional backrest and a brand new set of dunlops installed, and a new yuasa battery, plus all original documentation. There is someone selling a 93 on here for 2000 obo in good shape which seems like a great deal to me if someone else wants a chance at one. And the one I got was a ONE owner bike, and with only 4000 miles its basically brand new!

I'd like to go on a ride with some fellow VFRW members so if anyone is within a couple hours of me feel free to PM me and see about meeting up, I very rarely ever see another VFR around here (Southern, PA).
