Gentlemen and ladies, I have officially retired myself from the Triumph zones and Kawasaki Zephyr Zone and become a part of the VFR World. I bought a 2005 VFR 800 ABS at the end of May. I had always admired the bikes, but didn't see myself affording one until this one came across my view. Bought it on a Friday afternoon, it only had 330 total miles on it, and by the end of the weekend it had over 1,000. I love the bike. Hopefully I didn't do any damage to it on my initial weekend with the highway riding. I varried the RPM while I was riding it back and forth from Southern Maryland to Bethpage NY. I guess only time will tell. I am currently stationed in Patuxent River Maryland. Naval Flight Officer working on testing some new flying toys we have coming to the fleet. I have already gotten quite a bit out of the forums, and I am mounting up for another road trip this coming week. This time from Southern MD to Maine and back. Stock seat right now, but hopefully my travel money will help me pay for a new Corbin seat. (I know the general feeling is that Corbin is not the best option, but it would be my third Corbin on a bike and I have loved them all.) Hopefully I will have some good pictures to post after this weekend. Thanks for letting me in... Matt
