Never had a minutes problem with my 10K mile 99VFR. Been reading the r/r posts and thought "not me". Took the VFR out today (98 degrees), shut it off for 3 minutes and it would not start. Rolled it down a hill, bump started it, and brought home thinking bad battery. Noticed the clock & trip meter reset also. Few hours later checked voltage (12.7), hit the button and it started like it never had a problem. Now I'm paranoid to venture far from the house. From everything I read sounds like I fell victim to the r/r jinx. Planning on a new r/r and VFRness to restore that warm fuzzy feeling again. Should have stayed away from the forum and she would have went forever.
