Hello all. I just bought an 02 VFR Vtec to see if it fits better than my 02 Yamaha R6. Lately I have been going on longer and longer rides and am getting tired of the "burning shoulders" sensation and my girl complaining of "burning buns."

I pick it up next weekend for a 3.5 hour ride back to Albuquerque so I will have a pretty good idea by then. Still, I am pretty damn excited to get my hands on that bike regardless. I love the R6 but I have been moving more towards an all around commuter/twisty fiend and the VFR seems to be in a class all on its own when compared to what is out there.

Hi vanion and welcome to the group. I think you will be more comfortable on the viffer than on the R6. The ergos are pretty good, tho some people want a little more sitting up position and put on bar risers. The VFR is a great choice (if not the best) for all around commuting/twisty riding.
