It's been 25 yrs in the making and all sorts bikes in that time, KX80, XR200, KLX 250?, DR250, RGV250, CBR600f, CBR919, FZ6N but within a week or so i'll be the happy owner of a new 2012 White/Black VFR800.

I'll post pics when i get my hands on it.

I'll be looking at getting the white rims done in a black with white rim tape. The white rims look good until the get dirty and i dont fancy washing it regulary as i'd prefer to ride it.. Powder coat or Painted?

Also want to know what peeps think of TBR or Leo Vince slip ons. I like the TBRs as they have a stubby look. Dont like cans out past the tail light personally. Also looking for heated hand grips, Oxford or similar. Luggage options, Givi seem like a good option.

So I've got plenty of work in front of me but I cant wait.

Any opinions good or bad would be welcome.

    Welcome jayburis!

No complaints about Leo Vince. Much lighter than stock & don't stick out past the tail light. I think the TBR's make a little more noise but not in a bad way.

I would think powder coating would hold up better than paint especially if your not cleaning regularly.

Thx for the pic Arnzinator. I like the three tone colour of your bike. Are they aluminum or titanium cans? Also do you have a pic of the rear of the bike.
    Cheers

Here's a pic of the rear of the bike with factory hard bags.

My bike is on its way south from QLD. So im hoping to pick it up come sat'd. Wee bit excited :)

I came across a thread on VFRD about buying Givi luggage direct from Italy form the guy below. I thought i'd read a similar thread on here but cant find it. I'm just wondering if anyone had used Luigi to buy some gear and what they thought of the buying experience.
    Cheers

    Nice!

Always liked the white & black. Get a set of pipes & you'll really be hooked on the exhaust note.
