Ok so after much time on the forums i cant seem to find this anywhere. My 1991 Vfr has a problem when i give it throttle, let me explain. I was riding the bike a couple of days ago and stopped for a drink. came back and tried to start bike to find a dead battery. Jumpped the bike off and it ran fine, finally after two stops/ jumps later i got home. i got a new battery and tried to start the bike. it idled fine after finally starting but died with throttle. i thought this to be the main jet being clogged so i took the carbs off and cleaned them. put them back on and still having the problem. Any help?

There's a big difference between cleaning carbs and cleaning carbs properly and thoroughly. Whenever you find battery issues, the charging system needs to be checked for correct output.

R/R is bad, not big surprise, and I clean the carb jets (everywhere pointing towards it) wher I can see through the Jets and the holes on the side, I have to jump the bike but after its jumped and it is running it stayed running with out any outside help suggesting the stator is still good

Do the "Drill" your charging system has suffered the usual failure, over 11 million so far, and that is just this year. Pointless doing anything else to it till you go through it and come back here and give us the readings. Then get rid of the stinkin connector that causes all these problems
