Continental is an old line tire manufacturer. Conti's are popular with the BMW (airhead) set. Google for more info. The Ebay ad may some dude selling overstock tires or they may even be old. Best IMO to email the seller and ask.

I had them on my Blackbird the first year. Did a 7500 mi trip to west coast and back (front) rear got 5k and replaced in Oakland. Good tire unless you want to do track days. The price is standard compared to http://www.americanmototire.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=33_108_869

Good prices all the time. Check them out. I been buying from them for years.

I ran for them 3 seasons, including 1 track day. Well more a handling seminar on the track than a dedicated track day. Great tire tire for the money. Certainly NOT the best tire you can buy. For average rider, no complaints. RVFR summed it up pretty good. Here's a link to a tread discussing Conti's: New tires for my 05

Not sure how prices are in Canada. In the US it seems many shops carry 'em for around $175 for the pair in those sizes.

To answer your original question, those aren't wheels.... they are tires...

Had those on my 94 after 2 sets of Michelin Pilot powers. Thought I would try something different. What a mistake. They totally sucked right off the bat.

Between my dad and I, we have 4 sets of Continental ContiMotions between my 5th Gen and Hawk GT and his two BMW R1100S'. We've both had really good luck with, I haven't worn a set out yet but he's got well over 10,000km on one set and they aren't done yet.

Like others say, a good street/sport touring tire. Certainly not the best one on the market, but I think a solid tire for the price.

Too funny TNR, I was going to say something along those lines, but he got off by saying, "brand on"

In Chilliwack some call them wheels. Closer to being wheels than fenders anyways. Often used here on cow shit spreaders.
