I was at the gym this morning burning off some Halloween candy and I overhear a guy ask another guy "Is that your Ducati?' while looking at my bike parked in the window. The 2nd guy answers no - he rode his gixxer today. The funny thing is the 2nd guy didn't say anything to the 1st guy like "bruh that's not even a Ducati you tard" so I'm assuming they BOTH thought it was a Ducati :D

I got the same when rolling up to the grocery store once. But mine's red so it does look more like the usual Ducati. Most people don't notice specific models or brands. What bugs me is when guests at my house don't even say "Hey, show me your bike!" Like, how oblivious can you be to something that's important to another person? So, I'm polite to people who don't know much, at least they have the courtesy to give a thumbs up when I pull in to the parking lot.
