I was down in Arizona last month riding my buddies fully kitted gen 8 when I was asked at a rest stop full of riders if I was on a GoldWing. The bike got a lot of oohs and ahhs and my friend said he never gets any attention when he rides it. He typically doesn’t have side bags on, just top case so maybe that was difference.

I think the 8th gen is the sexiest looking of the VFRs so far. Without the baggage. Thing is though. It looks just as good fully loaded too. That's what I am after. Seems there are few if any here in the frozen north. But I am still watching.

Indeed, I'm really enjoying mine, they are great touring bikes with the factory luggage :)

    Goldwing! Pshaw!

Not that I have anything against them, but confusing a Goldwing and a VFR... Pshaw!

Might have been a veiled dig, that wasn't detected.

Nah, they were kind and obviously naive. I think they were riding a CanAm Spyder.

Puig Tour in that pic, I run it in the winter for rain and touring for wind protection, summer months around town I really like the factory windscreen oddly enough, lots of good clean air.
