I bought an 83 VF750 with 22k miles on it last year, started doing some maintenance throughout this year, new tires, new chain and sprocket, new fluids...
Well it was my first time flushing my coolant, so i didnt know about bleeding the system, later that night i blew a head gasket :(
So i worked out a deal with one of the mechanics i work with where if i brought him the engine he would work on it pretty cheap. So a few hundred bucks and about two weeks later I have new head gaskets, chain tensioners, valves adjusted, and a beautiful sounding engine. Nice deep growl to her.

Fast forward three days and ive got an extremely loud clacking noise that sounds like something metal is slapping around somewhere. Idles rough, seems like its misfiring from whatever is causing the noise. And im ready to put napalm to the bitch and burn her to the ground. Any other suggestions???

Ill make a video of the sound tomorrow if i should, and in the mean time id like to hear some advice or something, you guys usually have good helpful feedback
