Introducing myself

Hello bikers!
First of all, thank you for being here.
Secondly, I appreciate VERY MUCH this peculiar site, the way you write in, the tecnical advices. Something not existing anywhere else!
My name is Jean, I am 44 springs old. ALWAYS loved women and bikes, something you know enough about......:redface:
I just have purchased a 2003 vfr vtec, seemingly in very good conditions. ( and YES I have a troubleshooting post to submit :redface: )
I LOVE this strange V4 engine, since I come from a 97 Triumph Daytona ( a triple...) it really seems to have two different bikes!
I live in the NorthWest of Italy, in the Alps, just between France and Switzerland. Plenty of curvy mountain roads !!!
One more thing: please try to forgive my poor English, it is a memory from the school.

I have already been over in Italy on the VFR a few times this year, and my local bike club SamvaMotoClub will definitely be heading over again in the summer.

If you enjoy rock music, good food and motorbiking:vtr2: , then you would be very welcome to come over for our annual Burn Mountain Rock Event in July, on the way you will find plenty more curvy mountain roads on this side of the Alps :smile:.

Hello all,

Am a new member as of today, and have attached pics of my '97 VFR 750F, which I've had since 2002. She's got 14,000 miles on her, all of them trouble free and ridiculously fun. She has a Corbin saddle and I've fitted a D&D slip on for a different exhaust noise (a bit louder, higher end, some crackle). Otherwise stock.

Does anyone know have a reference for a good mechanic (for big stuff, such as rebuilding engines and the like) in or near to Western Connecticut? If not, do you have any advice on where to look?

You can keep your hot house grown tomatoes. I like the vine ripened tomato and only in the fine climates of Italy can you get that.

Now I am hungry for a bitch'n BLT on an Italian roll.
