interchangable parts

are motor parts interchangeable between a 83 VF750 and a 85 VF700. cams. valves, gears or any other tranny parts? Thanx ya'll

Yes they are, same engine for the most part. The crank shaft and rods are different from 700 to 750.

 

Speaking of interchangeable...here's a joke....

The Russian army heard that the Americans soldiers were changing their underwear once a week.. So the official Army spokesman said " In retaliation for the American Underwear changing and display of wealth of the American army, the Russian army has announced that we will now be changing our underwear EVERY DAY...Stansislav will change with Rodanov, Checkov will change with Rostrovich, evgeny will change will Gregoriev, etc etc...

 

Thanx TC. found a motor for $40.00 bucks figured it might be a good idea to have some extra parts laying around. Funny Davey.
