I correct installation and equipment in my vf750f

I have a question about the tube visible in the picture.

Any drips from the liquid in the sweet taste...

This is ok? Where is this tube?

Looks like the the tube from the overflow on the coolant tank, might have slipped off because it has a metal clip on it, otherwise I would have said it was the end that should be hanging down.

This means that the tube of the pictures should be blocked? Additionally I intercede some pictures of the tank. Is this connection correct? One output is empty without the tube ..

Sorry, diagram is from my 83 manual, they must have made a change in the 85's.

Mis-read your post, thick hose from back of crankcase goes into separator. Oil vapors leave via thick hose back into air cleaner to be burned. Small hose at bottom is a drain which should have a plug at the bottom for occasional draining, top of hose should be connected to tank. Not sure what second thick hose is connected to. Hopefully someone has an 85 manual.

I'm just guessing as I have no manual, but presume the intention is for oil droplets to settle and drain, and vapours (but not droplets) to go to the airbox. In which case the hose from the crankcase should connect to the inlet that drops to the bottom of the tank from the top, the airbox should connect to the outlet that comes off the top but has no internal pipe. The two lower outlets would be intended to drain off liquid oil in a controlled manner, so I'd have said that second outlet should be either capped, or have a drain tube fitted like the other one.

Let's start again! Got this post mixed up with another one.

Is indeed an 83, and so is mine. Found the source of confusion. The diagram from the manual doesn't show the third large hose from the bottom of the tank down to the top of the transmission! So two breather hoses and one exit to the air cleaner housing.

So, in your original photo of hose by the header belongs on the smaller connection on the bottom, which is the drain hose with plug as mentioned.
My 83 tank does look a little different on top. I totally spaced out on the third hose, I was going by the diagram.
