I have a recurring leak from the stock fuel pump on my '95 (from the vent area). The leak is bad enough that it's leaving a puddle under the bike, so I purchased a Facet 40171 fuel pump to do the replacement. Before I get too far with fuel lines and the install, I thought I'd ask if anyone has done this and can share any tips or photos of their install/routing?

I've seen it referenced as a thread here and there, but multiple searches have turned up zilch. I'm not particularly interested in running gravity-feed only, for those that offer that suggestion.

    Thanks, Tom

    Tom,
I fitted one of those pumps, was pretty cheap from memory about 20 bucks and because I wasn't sure of the pressure it pumped ( I bought the pump years ago) so I fitted an inline adjustable pressure relief valve (it was also lying around) and it works no problems. I have seen ones that put out a couple of pounds which is all that is needed to keep fuel up to the needle and seat. From memory a new pump from David Silver was something like 180 quid which is a lot more than I paid for the bike in the first place
