I just wanted to post this for those who may be wondering like I was, which model to buy and would you have to modify anything. I went to Cycle Gear and purchased the model CC3 for about 23.00 with tax and it fit perfectly. Did not have to grind the lever or anything like that. I've seen some who have had to grind the lever because it would make contact with the gas tank when the handlebars are turned all the way to the right. I've seen other posts that said to buy the one made for the Yamaha to avoid this problem. Did not have this problem with the NEP made for Honda. It took about 5 minutes to install and adjust. I took it for 100 mile test ride and it works absolutely perfect. 20.00 well spent IMHO.

Handle bars turned fully to the right. Still a 1/4 - 1/2" clearance.

Thanks for the post and pictures. I'm still tossed between the NEP and the Vista...looks like there are a few modifications you need to make to the Vista.

Go with the NEP, I love mine and you literally just clip it on, and adjust it a bit and you're set. Great for long rides.

I just installed one of these units yesterday, I had it on my CBR600F2 and it fits nicely on the VFR.
