    hi everybody!
i've got a question about the fork length of a vf750 interceptor.

is there any one that can tell me how long it is, from the top of it, untill the center of the front wheel axle, please?
    cheers!

Sorry, no idea. But, note that overall length could change slightly, depending on the length of the top-out spring (if any).

    Ciao,

    thnks Jzh.
it is just to have an idea of it.
looking for a modern front end for my vf 750, knowing i don't have the vf fork, if i have this info, i'll be able to look for a fork that won't lower the bike so much.

    i was sure i wasn't clear, sorry...

i need the length from the top of the fork cap, untill the center of the wheel axle.
like if you have one "leg" of the fork on the bench, not fitted on the bike.

i'm not sure to be clearer... :biggrin1::biggrin1::biggrin1::biggrin1::biggrin1:

Is that the fully extended length with no weight on it ,or weight on it.

Are you thinking of putting cbr forks on it?

Here are a few forks for consideration if you want to change forks. I do not have the VF750 length for you. These measurements are from Thunderceptor: Fork lengths (measured from top of upper fork tube to center of axle)
    F2/F3 = 780 mm (30 3/4")
    F4/F4i = 750 mm (29 1/2")
    600RR = 730 mm (28 3/4")
    86 VFR 835mm
    YZF600R 805mm

    thanks 2Wheel.
i have read all of that already, and unfortunatly, the vf isn't in that list.

my guess is that the fork of the vf might be pretty much the same length than the vfr.
    just need confirmation.

    but thanks again!!! ;)

I thought I had a set of VF750F forks loose that I could measure, but I didn't. They are definitely much longer than 86 VFR750F forks. If I get a chance to roll the VF into the main shop I will jack the front up in the air and take a measurement.

My 1983 VF750F forks measure 34 1/2" from the top of the tube to the center of the axle with no load. Regards, Chase
