The previous owner did an ok job recovering the seat on my '85 VF500, but it's already got some tears at the edges, the staple job was a bit of a rats nest, and the part around the tank doesn't fit very well. I could order a VF500 seat off of ebay, BUT. I'd like to take the cover off, add 1" to 1.5" to the lowest part of the driver section to level it out a bit, to lift me up, and forward a bit, and then get the material to cover it myself, hopefully getting a better fit around the tank. The key also doesn't lock the seat down right now
