I know this is a long shot, but I thought I'd try anyway. Anybody have a 6th gen Sargent Seat they're not using?

I ordered a Corbin a couple months ago before I found this forum and learned about Sargent's. The Corbin finally came this past Thursday and I have found it to be less then wonderful. First, it is very difficult to secure in the lock. Second, the "bump" pushes me back from the gas tank which makes it uncomfortable. Third, I have a SeatSak that has "tails" that run around the tabs under the stock seat. Those tabs do not exist on the Corbin so I can't use the Seat Sak. I'm going to try returning the Corbin and getting a Sargent, but I was told Sargent's standard seat for 6th gen VFRs is out of stock 'til the 19th. I'm planning on leaving for my long CA trip before then, so if I can't get a new seat, I'm hoping I can get a used one. If you want to sell yours, or even rent it out to me, let me know. I'll do the trip with my stock seat if I have to, but I know my butt won't love me. I'm open for other suggestions as well.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice you have to offer.

I talk to the guy at sandhill last week and he have two seats with silver webbing. I will check for contact info. Hope he still have them.

Since your trip is so close, have you thought of getting one of those gel seat pads to make do for the time-being? I know that some members have them (Nepix for one) and like them.

Like Long Dong Silver said though....give Sandhill Motorsports a call as well.
