I have a local dealer that has a great price on a new '05 VFR abs. I've searched around this site but not really finding an answer to my question, which is: what are the improvements that Honda has made since 2005 to the VFR? Is it just color changes since then, or did they work on any problems?

I did a search, but it seems like it'd take days to get an answer and I'm hoping to make a decision by tomorrow.

    Thanks guys.

the 2006 and newer vfr's have a lower vtec transition point to smooth out the cross over from 2 to 4 valves. i think they dropped it from 6800 rpm's down to 6400 rpm's. the turn signals were changed from orange to clear as well...

Ya that vtech thing is the only "significant" change made as far as I know. I have not heard much about the plus or minus of the vtech change. I have an 04 abs and love it. I would probably not buy a street bike without abs anymore.

and the vtec dissengages much lower (6100 rpms) to avoid it feeling like a toggle switch if you happen to be holding at 6400 rpms... cruising at 100 mph?... lol

As for the decision making I do not think many here would shy away from an 05 at all. I sure would not.
