I was in such a rush to cut to the chase that I forgot to introduce myself. Very sorry about that. I just bought my first VFR on Saturday and have loved every mile so far. For those of you have have answered my ?s, thanks for the help. Anything that can make me enjoy the ride more is a groovy thing. By the way, it's a bright yellow '00. See you guys on the road.
Welcome RG. I have to say, that is one bitchin' looking steed! Damn....hang on to her tight, and give her all the TLC that she needs. Nice wolf exhaust.
I've gotten more than a couple comments about the exhaust, but honestly, all I know about it is that it looks really cool and makes the bike sound like a Duc.
Ride East a bit and you will find some awesome twisties. Hwy 32, 36, and 299 to name a few. Welcome to the Nor Cal VFR World.
Last time I was in Susanville was a roadtrip through Cali. 3 1/2 years ago in a '74 Fiat Spider. Man, I've worked on that car in more states across the country than many people have been in. I know those roads and enjoy them when I can. Today, however, will include 84, 35, possibly 17, definitely 1.
NO! The wolf exhuast DOES sound better than all Duc's! Actually all VFR's sound better. There I said it LOL! BZ
Welcome! I luv da lellow color! (I saw a yellow Katana the other day when I was driving my cage...he had a nice black yellow leather jacket...nice combo. So go buy a matching coat so I can live through you...I am all black unless I put on the day-glo vest for commuting.) Color is so important! (LOL). Oh, the guy on the Katana saw me gawking and so I gave a head nod...he waved back...I thought that was cool. :clap2: I was on my VFR 4 hours later...
