    IMPORTANT NOTICE!

Please note that VFRworld will be down for a short period of time on Friday, May 9, while important upgrades are applied to the site. The specific time is not yet known.

VFRworld will be upgrading to the latest version of vBulletin, 3.7. This version includes several enhancements to make your experience on VFRworld even better.

Please note that this is a major upgrade, and there are likely to be slight issues with some of the functionality after the upgrade. I'll try to make the update as seamless as possible, but there may be some issues that will take a while to resolve, and I appreciate your patience.

Let me know if you have any questions, and I hope you like the new features!

That upgrade include the fix for the WAP version? Cuz my iPod Touch is stuck on the WAP interface, and my WinMo phone is stuck on the standard.

All efforts to use the provided link, wipe, clear, reset, reformat have failed to fix the problem...

Not that I'm complaining. Just sayin.

As you can see, the site is back up and running, which is great news! That means we didn't lose any data, and all is well. There are still a lot of little things I need to do to complete the upgrade, so there's a chance you will encounter strange behavior on the site for the next couple of days. But, at least we're up and running, and you're home away from home is open for business. :xxx:

there is too much to type out but you can read about it here... probably the most noticeable thing will be the profiles similar to myspace, etc. there will be more advanced friend settings and personal messaging, etc. there are some background improvements, too...

I better be in your top friends!

And any fun/jokes I make toward the social networking upgrades, I apologize in advance for. I'm proud to see the upgrades and new feature being implemented.

That being said, I think it's time for a new domain. vfrspace.com
