So after a 12 year Hiatus off bikes I jumped back in and immediately started my search for a stock
    vfr 800 2007 or 2009. I always wanted one and I scored a 2007 RWB VFR.
I've had it for 4 months and I've ridden a lot more than I anticipated. 4000kms or 25oo miles.
Its been great. I love the machine and I never get bored of looking at it.
Always draws a crowd at my local bike hangouts. I feel like a proud poppa.
Just exploring how much tread I can use on my Michelin PR 4s other than that I'm confident on the machine.
Its the quietest bike at idle but i don't mind.
I've had it up to 221kmh or 137 mph and it was rock stable.
Its been a great first year back and most of the credit goes to the bike I ride.
It ain't no cookie cutter machine. I even have a few VFR t shirts now. LOL.
I can't even sleep before my weekend rides, too much adrenaline looking forward to my ride.
    Ride safe all.

Awesome! Many years and many bikes now, I still go to bed thinking about bikes. What I'm gonna do. Where I'm gonna go.

    Welcome!!!!

A little late on the take but congratulations on your new-to-you RWB VFR800. I have one just like yours!

I've had mine since new, and it now has over 50k miles. But she has been garage kept her whole life and I've kept up with her needs. I recently went through a whole slew of maintenance items for her: cleaned her injectors, cleaned her throttle body, replaced CCT's, stator, suspension by Jamie Daugherty, and even upgraded her shift mechanism to the Factory Pro Shift Start & Arm kit. Even after all these years and miles she still runs like new and in fact better than new. Engine is smooth as silk. Shifting is smooth and quick. Handling is much improved from stock. It's like renewing an old love affair only better. Here's a picture I took last weekend.
