    First confession....I don't ride a VFR, at least not since Feb. '01. I had a '97
VFR for 3 years before that when I switched to a Ducati ST2. I like the bike but cost of ownership is insane. With almost 70K, I'm thinking VFR again.
I'm here mostly to lurk and learn.

Yep...07's are on factory to dealer rebate right now across the country for around $8000 out the door. Great bike and not many complaints from me, but the new model appears to be set for release later 09 or early 2010. As we all know appearences aren't worth much but this looks to be the year and it looks like Honda will move the bike into the hypersport catergory. Somewhere in the vacinity of a K1300S with BHP higher than Busa or a ZX-14. Shaft drive and a lot more. Google VFR 1200 and you'll find tuns including pics. If that's your bag you may want to wait a few more months.

Thanks guys. I have seen the deals on '07's. I found a 25th Anniversery that I could not believe was available. They want 9500 out the door. I am aware of the 2010 vfr1200. I'm thinking the cost and insurance over the 800 might not be worth it to me. I've ridden my friends '06 and it has all the power I need on a street bike. For now the Duc is running great and times are a little "iffy" to be spending big......time will tell......
