You do realize that the only year that yellow was available in the U.S. was 2000 right? If this is truly a 1999 model and you are purchasing it here in the U.S. it means that the bike was either repainted / rebuilt with parts from another bike or another possibility is that the color was available for that year outside the U.S. and it was imported. If this is not an import you obviously need to do some research on why the color has been changed and be extra cautious and inspect it thoroughly. Also keep in mind that you may need to swing by a Home Depot on the way home to restore your manliness if you end up buying that Yellow bike. LOL

Rollin is only partially right - the fact about yellow only being available in 2000. Other than that, once you get that yellow and realize the true power of the VFR, you'll never go back. That's why Honda only made the yellow in 2000 - most of the guys were able to handle all of its awesomeness.

Sold my TDM almost three years ago to purchase my 07 VFR, wish I had been able to have a collection of bikes, the TDM would have been a keeper. Welcome back.
