If you ride a dirt bike...

...or an OHV, and even if you're not an AMA member, you might want to check this out.

 

That's crap. Here in NY, part of your registration fee for snomobiles, dirt bikes and ATVs is supposed to go to a trail fund. There have been times in the past where they have taken this money (that is supposed to be dedicated to building and maintaining trails) and moved it elsewhere. I ride off-road, but luckily, I only ride on private land. Otherwise, I'd have no place to ride.

 

It is the norm these days, pay your way and government will piss it away and ask for more.

 

Double the fees for ATVs. Saw one at a Honda dealer and I thought it was a fucking Kenworth.

 

My idea for ATVs is to revise the old figure 8 and destruction derby at racetracks and maybe invent an ATV Evel Knevel/ Elvis dude to jump all kinds of shit. Zombie flix are out and cage fighting flix are on their way out. Maybe it's time for some ATV flix. Chuck Norris and Kim K in starring roles?

 

Old story.....if there is a fund lying around somewhere, the governmental vacuum will find it. I ran a small business for 30 years. If I had managed my money like the government manages my money, I wouldn't have lasted a week.
