idle adjustment

    hi you all, i'm new here. I have a 99 model went to adjust my idle with screwdriver as book said but it didn't make contact with anything help please for this poor uk rider

    Hi Wolfeyes

    you need a long screwdriver.

    Is the idle high or low? If its high, make sure that the fast idle lever on the L/H grip isn't away from the stop.

    thanks Mate but the idle is low and i used a foot long screwdriver do you think something is missing?

    Had no problem wil my 99...

    as far as i know its through the small hole in the frame ???

    Get a flash light (torch) and look into the hole, you will see the adjusting screw. Rob
