I don't need 2 Hawks. I've done the multiple examples of the same bike thing enough. And then it happened again. I did a thing. It was too close, and it was too cool. And I knew who was selling it.

sono-fa-bitch, I couldn't afford NOT to buy it.

1988 Hawk GT. Just about every cool thing you can do to a Hawk. Plus a 700cc built engine.

There was no way I was gonna see this thing go anywhere but HOME.

    Better pics and details later.

    FUCK

Even tho this was mostly mad money for bikes, the Minister Of Finance agreed, "we" couldn't afford NOT to buy it. I got some serious extras. Actually I was just going to buy the extras but the number on EVERYTHING was irresistible and made sense.

The previous owner who built the bike is Hawaiian. He came across that aluminum water bottle at Goodwill. It was from Hawaii (Flyin Hawaiian Zipline) so he used it as the coolant overflow.

Sounds like a build that would outrun my supersport SV650 pretty easily. That thing looks rowdy as hell!
I looked up the weight of the Hawk expecting it to be heavier than the SV based on the rear swingarm alone. Surprised to see the dry weights are nearly identical at 364 pounds.

For sure. When the weather improves a bit and I can clear a path outside thru all the extra parts I got in the deal.

That can be tricky on Hawks. Also, that Red / Black contrast might be a turn off to some suitors who might have considered a modded Hawk.

I know the Tank is stock, my new Hawk's tank is from Canada. Are the wheels and seat stock too?

EDIT: Looks like they came with a red seat but the wheels have been painted.
