I got a heck of a nice deal from the local dealer after my test ride so I bought the VFR 1200 and sold my BMW GS1200 (I was tired of sitting straight up). After 600 miles the bike has impressed me in the following ways: I love the looks. It is a modern design, made beautiful with shape and color, not graphics. I stare at it all the time (when its parked at work). My bike has excellent slow speed manners-- it doesn't surge and is very smooth. The air flow is very smooth-- absolutely no buffeting. I have been searching for a fairing like this -- never found it with BMW I haven't experienced it fully, but the power is awesome (correct use of the word) My bags are ordered but have not yet arrived, the 600 mile oil change needs to be done in the next couple of days and then I am ready to get out on the road.
