It is hard to type one handed but here is the short version. Came over a hill on my VFR Interceptor there were cars on the other side stopped I hit the brakes and could not avoid. When I knew my bike would hit the car I bailed. I was wearing full gear so I am alive but my helmet is messed and my jacket is torn. I have big scrapes and loss of skin on my hands and knees and i broke my wrist bad. I was discharged from the hospital but need surgery to fix my wrist. I will prob go under the knife today if I am lucky so I am not allowed food or pain killers at the moment. My bike was towed and I don't even know what it looks like. Thats all for now

Bikes can be fixed, helmets can be replaced. Very sorry to hear about your accident, but the fact that you are able to post a note here speaks volumes. You are alive and appear to be in relavitely good shape considering so I would say that you were very lucky.

    Hope everything works out.

Hope you get through surgery with no issues today. Write an update when you feel up to it. Hope your touch is still working after they fix you up.

Typeing this single handed shows you got the right spirit. Hope you get well as soon as possible and you will be riding again before you know.

good idea. I'm gonna dedicate my next two beers to your recovery also like KC-10 here did. Glad you typed the message one handed, Midias, rather then getting the dreaded rider down message fform a friend saying it is much worse. You one handed typing skills are probably gonna improve much over the next few weeks. Good luck.

A little advice from a fellow road rash victim. As soon as you can get back on a bike or fear will take over. I have heard this story too many times over the 20 + years of riding I have done & some guys never ride again. They also live to regret it! GET BACK ON THE HORSE !!!

Is it proper to substitute an additional alcoholic beverage for the cigar dedication? they never taste as good the following morning.
