Has anyone compared the pros and cons of Hyperpro vs. Racetech springs? I want to improve the mushy/diving feeling in my suspension. However, I'm concerned that Racetech may give me too harsh of a ride. Are the progresive rate Hyperpro springs the way to go for good all around street applications? I'm leaning towards front and rear Hyperpro springs to start and then eventually add Goldvalves.

Get the racetech springs properly rated for your weight and riding style and they will outperform progressive springs by a long shot. Progressives (the brand and the style) in my experience (FJ1200) were total sh!t and made the bike mushy at the top and then suddenly harsh at the bottom, not a good combo.
